Kate Fearnley graduated with a BA (Hons) fashion degree from Northumbria University in 1997 and went on to work for a design company. In 2002 with help from the Prince’s trust she established her own label.

Fast forward to today and Kate Fearnley has become a name synonymous with edgy style, ‘fashion forward, quirky, on trend and feminine’ are just some of the words fashion writers use to describe her exquisite collections. Made up of unusual fabrics, various textures and shapes, each season’s new offerings are an exciting, insight into this young designer’s creative mind. In 2005, Kate opened the Kate Fearnley Boutique in the North of England. She now has a loyal local clientele, as well as fans who travel to see her from all over the country. A visit to the stylish store shows exactly why Kate Fearnley is so good at what she does; the boutique is an extension of her, where a harmonious mixture of modern, antique and craftwork come together to create a glamorous and stylish atmosphere.

Following years of hard work, grit and determination, Kate’s fans now include an array of familiar faces, with celebrities such as Alexandra Burke, Sarah Harding, Sophie Ellis Baxter, Pixie Lott and Zoe Salmon all being fans of Kate’s designs.
